IIMPact Legacy
Since our inaugural event in 2005, IIMPact has traversed an extraordinary journey—from exploring the role of “Indian Professionals in Singapore” to tackling complex themes like “LIFE 4.0” that examine how the Fourth Industrial Revolution transforms our existence. Along this journey, we’ve had the privilege of hosting visionaries: Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kailash Satyarthi, former RBI Governor Dr. Raghuram Rajan, and corporate titans like Piyush Gupta (DBS Group), Sunny Verghese (Olam), and Harish Manwani (Unilever).

The Heart of India-Singapore Excellence
IIMPact isn’t just an event—it’s a movement that has redefined what a diaspora community can achieve. Born from the passion of volunteer-driven IIM alumni in Singapore, this flagship forum has evolved into a powerful bridge between two nations, a catalyst for meaningful change, and a celebration of intellectual leadership that transcends institutional boundaries.

What sets IIMPact apart is its focus on tangible outcomes. Our 2014 edition, “I’M THE CHANGE,” spotlighted revolutionary change agents across industries. In 2016, we challenged ourselves to “Re-imagine” the pursuit of happiness across personal, professional, and societal spheres. By 2019, our vision had expanded to explore how technology reshapes every aspect of human existence—from geopolitics and finance to work-life balance and environmental sustainability.
This progressive vision has attracted Singapore’s highest echelons of leadership—with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong recognizing our community’s valuable contributions to the nation. Other distinguished guests have included Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister Chan Chun Sing, and the late President S.R. Nathan.
As one of the largest IIM communities outside India—over 3,000 strong—we’ve created a forum where government leaders, visionaries, entrepreneurs, and changemakers find common ground. From case competitions for schoolchildren to immersive “DiscoveryZones,” IIMPact consistently pushes boundaries of what a community-led initiative can achieve.
Our events have become a space where alumni transcend individual institutional identities to embrace a collective purpose, welcoming 500+ participants at recent editions for experiences described as “high energy, inspirational, and exploratory.”
